    A place where 5 or more unrelated people live together in a community setting. Services provided include room and board, supervision, support services, and may include up to 3 hours of nursing care per week.

    Homme Residential – Wittenberg is a state licensed Class C, Community-Based Residential Facility. Qualified, dedicated staff are on duty 24-hours a day to provide a healthy, safe and secure environment that offers carefully selected services to meet your needs.

    • Physical, Occupational, and speech therapies can be provided in the facility
    • Respite care is available for those needing only short-term care.
    • The rural village setting allows residents easy access to shopping areas, medical clinics, dentists, eye doctor, pharmacy and restaurants.

     

    What are the Residency Requirements for Homme Residential CBRF?

    • Must be over 55 and free of communicable diseases
    • Physical exam and TB skin test
    • Adequate financial resources to cover the monthly rate, as well as extra cost which may be incurred or Family Care Approve

    It is the policy of Homme Residential CBRF to provide service to all persons without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, handicap or age based on individual program requirements. If a waiting list exists, preference is given to members of churches belonging to the Homme Corporation.

  • What is the Sunburst Memory Care?

    The Sunburst Residence Memory Care enhances the services provided by Homme Residential-Wittenberg allowing residents with memory impairments to live independently in a tranquil setting with specially trained staff.

     

    What Do We Offer?

    • 24-hours staff assistance
    • A secure and homey environment that features 12 private bedrooms with Sunburst beds, built-in wardrobes and private bathrooms
    • Nutritionally balanced meals and snacks
    • Medication assistance
    • Health Monitory and diabetic care
    • RN and social services availability
    • Housekeeping and laundry services
    • Assistance with bathing and dressing
    • A formal living room is the perfect place for family visits and/or quiet reflections surrounded by the warmth of a beautiful Victorian fireplace.
    • Sunshine and the great outdoors greet residents on the old-fashioned back porch where they can watch wildlife, hikers and snowmobilers or participate in indoor gardening.
    • The Great Room offers many opportunities for social interaction and serves as a gathering place where residents can share a meal, listen to soothing music, work a puzzle, bake cookies, or enjoy a book in from of the fireplace.
    • Physical, Occupational, and speech therapies can be provided
